THE WORST MOVING COMPANY AND VERY FRAUDULANT. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO I WOULD. THEY QUOTED ME A PRICE AND I PAID THE DEPOSIT. 2 DAYS BEFORE OUR MOVE THEY CALLED AND SAID THAT I WAS UNDER QUOTED AND NEEDED TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $500 OR CANCEL MY MOVE AND GET A REFUND. THEIR CONTRACT SPECIFICALLY STATED THAT THERE WILL BE NO INCREASES TO THE RATE UNLESS WE HAD MORE FURNITURE THAN WHAT WE INVENTORIED. THEY DID NOT UPHOLD THAT AGREEMENT SO I CHOSE TO CANCEL MY MOVE. HOWEVER THEY REFUSED TO ISSUE ME A REFUND. THIS WAS BACK IN JULY AND I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY REFUND. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND BECAUSE THE CONTRACT STATED THAT YOU CAN NOT LEAVE A NEGATVE REVIEW SO THEY TOLD ME TO TAKE MY REVIEW DOWN. I TOOK MY REVIEW DOWN AND THEY STILL DID NOT GIVE ME A REFUND OF MY $600 DEPOSIT. THEY ARE CROOKS AND DESERVE NO BUSINESS.

Absolutely awful experience. Dean Miller is a liar and a thief. I am attempting to get my money back but there is a non disparagement clause in the contract. Him and Scott Thomas are absolutely awful people he sits there giving me "vip" status and it siunded too good to betrue, Low and behold it was. Gave him over 1300 for a move that was supposed to cost 2900 and got upcharged to almost 5 grand. Scam artists, Nothing more, Nothing Less. Tasha Jacobs is extremely condescending and I hear people laughing in the background. Cant wait to find out the real names.. Miller?... Thomas?...Jacobs? They must have picked these names from a hat! Upon further research I find out these other companies they are associated with and I just cant believe I let myself fall for deans lies. Anyone can lie to make money, I just did not think a company could legally do things like this.

Value van lines made sure my move was trouble free all along. Although I was moving during the peak season, I got a surprisingly convenient price, considering high demand in moving industry at the time. They addressed all my concerns about the move, answered all my questions and reassured me that everything would turn out ok. There were no delays, they were on time both for the pick-up and delivery, and more importantly, nothing was damaged. I will be contacting them for my next move for sure. Everyone should have a reliable support during the household move as Value van lines movers know how to deal with any unexpected situation.

Value Van Lines LLC came through on what they said they would do. Can't ask for more from a moving company. Customer service and sales rep were always available and helpful Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a long distance move.

Nothing flashy but got the job done. Did what they said, no more no less, I would use them again. What I was impressed with is how quickly they got the truck loaded and unloaded.

Value Van Lines really excels in customer service in all areas! Their office staff was friendly, always upbeat and willing to answer my questions and concerns. They showed up on my requested day and arrived on time. They were courteous, hard working and professionally packed everything quickly. They even laid down protective blankets to ensure our new floors were not damaged from all of the traffic. I would use them again as well as recommending them to family, friends and co-workers.

Value van lines movers were very knowledgeable and properly trained. I had to move several bulky items, including my old piano, so I was looking for a company with an extensive experience in handling similar items. But, in spite of all my concerns, they managed to turn my move into a seamless experience and to reduce the stress level. Their customer support, equipment and skills are really amazing.
I got exactly what I paid for and I’m grateful to my friend for a terrific recommendation. These guys are simply the best! Thanks to them everything went according to the plan and my belongings were safely delivered.

We recently used Value Van Lines for our move. Since we have a large family and we needed to move quickly for work, I requested additional packing services as well. Although I was a bit skeptic about letting complete strangers into my house, I needed everything moved to my new address asap. I wasn’t able to supervise my movers’ activities, but when I was unpacking, I realized that some items were packed without any logical order. I found in the same box kids’ plastic toys and an expensive porcelain vase. Some boxes were overpacked and stacked carelessly. Not really impressed with the service I got!

BEWARE!!! Do not use Value Van Lines. We recently retired and were moving our household goods from suburban Chicago, IL to San Diego, CA. We searched for a moving company and settled on Value Van Lines, feeling comfortable with the people we were dealing with, the quoted price, and the reviews. They picked up our shipment on July 23, 2018 and, as of today, October 25, 2018 we have not received our household goods. Here are the facts:
*They do not answer their phones, respond to voice mail, and rarely respond to emails. Their website says that their customer service number is answered 24/7 and even at 3 in the morning someone will answer. That is an absolute falsehood. They rarely answer that number.
*They give you delivery time lines, which are never met. We were given 4 different delivery time frames, none of which have been met, with the latest being Wednesday, September 12th. We were told on 9/10 that Sherman was on his way to San Diego with our shipment and will be there by 9/12. That didn’t happen. And now total communication blackout.
*While Mike, Customer Service Manager, has apologized, they make no effort to let us know where our goods are and communication is very poor.
*The Driver, Sherman with E&S Moving Systems LLC, does not answer calls or respond to voice or text messages. The one time he did text back he said that the office set his schedule and to contact them. The office blames Sherman, Sherman blames the office, and no one takes responsibility.
*No one can tell us where Sherman is, where the truck is, or where are household goods are located. All we were told is that Sherman got behind in his deliveries.
*We had to pay the entire move upfront, since it was being delivered to a storage facility. All payments had to be in cash and the deposits were direct debits to our bank account.
We were told that we would receive a refund if the actual weight was less than the estimated weight. The actual weight was less resulting in a cash overpayment of $334. Seven weeks later we still have not received a refund.
*We were told that if the shipment does not arrive in 21 business day that we would receive a refund of the deposit. The 21st business day was August 20, and we still have no answer about the refund of $2,931.39. We now will need to file a lawsuit to get our funds back from Value Van lines and Sherman M Smith.
    DO NOT USE THS COMPANY!

wouldn’t give this company 1 star but you have to. This company is nothing but a complete LIE. I was quoted a price and a $500 deposit came out of my account well I get a call from the movers the price was possibly going to be at least another grand. I said NO that’s not what you told me. Well they say we don’t know what the exact cost will be but no body wants your bid. Not my problem it’s theirs. Well I have proof to get my $500.00 back I’ve waited since July to get it. They don’t answer your calls don’t return them. I was told by a Mike yes you are on the refund list I will make sure your check gets out and email u a copy. RIGHT....
